Alberto Carlos Lopez Acosta is a Board-Certified Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner from Miami Regional University. He holds a Postgraduate Master’s Certificate in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Florida National University. Alberto’s educational background is complemented by an MD in Medicine from the University of Medicine Mariana Grajales Coello in Holguin, Cuba.
Alberto’s professional experience is both broad and diverse. He has served as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner at Airport Medical Clinic and Port Of Miami Medical Clinic in Miami, FL. Previously, he was a Charge Nurse at Fresenius Medical Care West Kendall and worked as a General Doctor in Venezuela and Cuba. His expertise encompasses acute care, multi-physician family practices, dialysis, and patient wellness and education.
