Biography

Martha Sandoval is a Florida Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing and decades of experience in dialysis. She resides in Miami, FL and makes her rounds at several dialysis clinics around the city. Martha always emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention. She provides nursing and medical services to dialysis patients including assessment, reviewing labs, prescribing pharmacological agents, teaching and counseling patients, and working with families.

Martha has worked in Hemodialysis (Chronic and Acute settings) and Peritoneal Dialysis (IPD, CAPD, CCPD) as a registered nurse. She has also worked at Mount Sinai’s Hospital Surgical floor.

Martha is originally from Ecuador. This is where she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse at the Central University of Quito, Ecuador. After graduating she worked at a Social Security Hospital, Military Hospital, and per-diem at several clinics in Quito.

Education

She obtained her Master degree in Nursing and Bachelor degree in Health Administration (BHA) from Florida International University.

Dr Sandoval is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), a Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN), and is a member of the American Nephrology Nurse Association (ANNA).
